This is my first wig, ever. But to be fair, my aunt used to be a hairdresser for Rodney Wayne, and I pick up tips from her. And I dance and act, so I'm used to massive amounts of hairspray XD

Honestly? Aim for perfection. I get so anal about cosplay, especially wigs, and I guess that extra drive just gives you more patience with the damn things.

I don't know really, I just make it up as I go along most times XD

I spend a lot of time visualising what I want the wig to look like, and then I use a cheap wig to practice on. For this one, I used got2b glued spray, and just worked with it until it was where I wanted, trimming as I went. The fibres of kanekalon wigs are really easy to work with, which helps, as does the fact this is a fairly straight-forward wig (considering I'm doing Axel now). Just reworking it until it is exactly as you pictured when you first started. If it's not right, wet it, dry it, and try again.

FIRST WIG!? I can't even untangle a damn wig, let alone cut one!!! >.<;;; I tried styling an Ichigo wig, and achieved uber fail... I think I need to actually cut it a little, but I'm kind of afraid to. o_o;

Don't be scared of scissors haha... Just cut it a little longer than you need to and you should be fine to tidy it up. Just cut up to tidy it and it should look natural enough.

It's just personal strengths and weaknesses. I bet you're a million times better than me at sewing, I have to work so damn hard to get to the level I aim for.

Lol, I haven't seen any of your sewing, so I honestly couldn't say, but I think we *all* struggle with our sewing! XD I think I will try and restyle that wig -- these holidays, even! I'm ordering another wig from cosworx soon, so if I screw this one up really badly, I can just combine shipping, heh. >.< Any tips for styling an Ichigo (Bleach) - [link] - wig out of the scruffy - [link] ?
